Great news! Your grades at high school don’t matter when pursuing a career as a dental assistant. As long as you can read, write and communicate effectively there is no barrier to entering the industry as a dental assistant.

If you have no previous experience as a dental assistant and wish to undertake the course on a Fee for Service basis, we offer the Certificate III for $4895. This includes your learning resources, your assessor visits and support.
It is advisable to seek employment with a Dental practice in order to gain the practical skills in the work environment. Alternatively, Students may now undertake HLT35021 Certificate III in Dental Assisting with which allows for subsidised fees under the User Choice program within Queensland. Eligible trainees must be employed in the industry in order to complete the qualification.
