Skills Assure Supplier

The Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) Framework is a key action from the Good Jobs, Great Training: Queensland Skills Strategy 2024-2028, a five-year plan to strengthen the state’s vocational education and training system.

AADA College is Proud to be a Skills Assure provider!

The Skills Assure identifier makes it easier to recognise providers that offer training subsidised by the Queensland Government.
By choosing a subsidised course through a Skills Assure Supplier, you can gain skills that are valued by industry and can help get you a job once you are finished your studies.

AADA College has been approved to continue being a Queensland Government subsidised training provider for the 2025-2028 Contract period for the Career Start Program.

Career Start Program

The Career Start Program provides Queenslanders with training and support to help individuals find a job, and support those already employed move into more skilled roles, by delivering entry level training to students, apprentices and trainees.

There are two pathways in the Career Start Program:

  • Career Start – Apprenticeship/Traineeship Pathway
  • Career Start – General Pathway

Under Career Start, you may access up to 2 funded training places through one of the following options:

  • a qualification in a certificate III under the general training pathway and an apprenticeship or traineeship. If the apprenticeship or traineeship is completed first, you are not eligible to access a general training pathway qualification under Career Start
    or
  • two apprenticeships and traineeships in either a certificate II or III (school-based apprenticeships and traineeships are included in this total).

Apprenticeship / Traineeship Pathway

Apprenticeships and traineeships combine work with study. You learn practical skills in the workplace and gain knowledge and skills through training with AADA College.

AADA College is a Skills Assure Supplier for Traineeships in:

  • HLT35021 – Certificate III in Dental Assisting
  • HLT33115 – Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
  • BSB30120 – Certificate III in Business

Your training contract can be registered as:

  • Full Time – 38 hours a week
  • Part Time – no less than 15 hours per week, averaged over a four week cycle.
  • School Based – a minimum of 7.5 hours per week, averaged over every 3 months, for every 12 months of the training contract (minimum total of 375 hours (50 days) must be achieved over a 12 month period.)

You can register your training contract through your Apprentice Connect Australia Provider (ACAP) and nominate AADA College as your training provider.

General Training Pathway

General Training is aimed to assist Queenslanders gain skills and knowledge for entry level employment in your chosen field. You gain knowledge and skills through training with AADA College, with practical training and assessment in the workplace.

AADA College is a Skills Assure Supplier for General Training in:

  • HLT35021 – Certificate III in Dental Assisting
  • HLT33115 – Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
  • BSB30120 – Certificate III in Business

Delivery Locations

Based in South East Queensland AADA College uses a blended delivery method for our Career Start Program.

Both the Apprenticeship / Traineeship Pathway and the General Training Pathway are delivered as a blend of online and workplace based training and assessment.

Our Trainers and Assessors travel all over Queensland to ensure all students have access to quality training and assessment services no matter where they are located.

AADA College can provide training and assessment services in most locations in Queensland!  Please see each qualification for target delivery locations.
